Dear Maniac,

Today our little nail brand turns four. FOUR. In nail years that is basically a whole hand. So please allow me one long, slightly sentimental letter. I promise there are jokes in it.

Four years ago I was a professional tennis player with a bag full of rackets and an honestly embarrassing amount of nail polish. At every tournament I did my own nails, and then the nails of half the locker room. That is when it clicked: beautiful nails make people ridiculously happy, but almost nobody has the time, the patience or the steady left hand to do them.

Then Anna and I discovered Korea, the world capital of everything nails. We tried a real gel manicure in sticker form once and we were sold on the spot: salon quality, done at home in 15 minutes, zero damage. In August 2022, Maniac was born.

Honestly? Everything. Launch days where we were still packing boxes at midnight. Bestsellers that sold out faster than we could say restock. A pride campaign, collabs we are still not over, and at least one shipment that decided to take the scenic route around the planet. Through all of it, you stuck with us. Pun very much intended.

Today Maniac is a team of 16 nail fanatics worldwide, and together we have made more than 1,000,000 nails shine. One million. If all those nails clapped at the same time, you would hear it in Korea.

This is where I get emotional, so hold my topcoat. THANK YOU. For every order, every mirror selfie with fresh nails, every review, every DM and every friend you dragged into the Maniac family. We do not have customers, we have Maniacs, and you are the whole reason this exists. Consider your nails officially kissed. 💋

Turning four deserves presents, and we happen to have ten of them. TEN brand new designs are dropping this month.
